  • Olive oil or avocado oil, for brushing over top and lightly frying
  • 2 tablespoons ghee or unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup finely minced onion
  • 6 cloves garlic, pressed through garlic press
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 15 ounce can organic pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon chopped, fresh sage
  • Fried sage leaves, optional garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine breadcrumbs and milk in a large bowl; let soak for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add minced onion, garlic, herbs, parmesan cheese, and eggs; mix well.
