  • 1 cup crispy cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the meat sauce by browning ground beef in a skillet. Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook until soft. Stir in marinara sauce, crumbled turkey bacon, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Make the béchamel sauce by melting butter in a saucepan. Whisk in flour for 1–2 minutes, then gradually add milk. Cook until thickened, then stir in Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Assemble the lasagna in a baking dish by layering meat sauce, noodles, béchamel sauce, mozzarella, and cheddar until all ingredients are used up.
  4. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
