  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time followed by the vanilla extract; mix well.
  5. Incorporate the sour cream until combined.
  6. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
  7. For the cinnamon swirl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  8. Pour half the batter into the prepared bundt pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, add remaining batter, then top with remaining swirl mix and gently swirl through with a knife.
  9. Bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
