Ingredients

  • 8 jalapeños
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • ½ cup shredded Colby jack cheese
  • 1 (8-ounce) package of crescent dough sheets
  • 32 small candy eyes
  • ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • ¼ tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice jalapeños lengthwise and remove seeds.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, Colby jack cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the creamy mixture using a piping bag.
  5. Cut crescent dough into strips and wrap around each filled jalapeño.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Add candy eyes after baking and serve warm.
