  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and prepare your donut pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Gently fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Transfer batter to a piping bag or ziplock bag and pipe into each cavity of the donut pan.
  5. Bake for 15-16 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for ten minutes before transferring to a rack.
  6. Coat cooled donuts in melted butter and roll in a mixture of granulated sugar and cinnamon until fully covered.
