- ½ cup pumpkin puree
- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and prepare your donut pan with non-stick spray.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Gently fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Transfer batter to a piping bag or ziplock bag and pipe into each cavity of the donut pan.
- Bake for 15-16 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for ten minutes before transferring to a rack.
- Coat cooled donuts in melted butter and roll in a mixture of granulated sugar and cinnamon until fully covered.
