- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
- ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley until well combined.
- Take about a tablespoon of the mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a small amount of cheese in the center and mold the meat around it to form a ball.
- In a separate bowl, combine ketchup and mustard for the glaze.
- Place meatballs on the prepared baking sheet and brush with the glaze mixture.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until cooked through and lightly caramelized.
