  • 2 tablespoons cake flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Cream unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together cake flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine with wet ingredients until well blended.
  3. Chill dough for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. For filling, mix softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cake flour until smooth.
  6. Form cookies by wrapping dough around filling balls; seal tightly.
