- 2 cups apple cider
- 4 tbsp plant-based butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Optional: Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat turkey breast dry, season with salt and pepper.
- Sear turkey in melted butter over medium-high heat until golden brown on all sides.
- Transfer turkey to a roasting pan, pour in 1 cup of apple cider for moisture.
- Prepare glaze by simmering remaining apple cider, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, garlic, cinnamon, and cloves until thickened.
- Brush glaze on turkey and roast, basting every 15 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), about 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Let rest for 10-15 minutes before carving and serving garnished with herbs and sliced apples.
